Burr opens campaign office

via – http://www.NC05.com  Senator Richard Burr would like your help with the official opening of the new campaign headquarters on Monday, February 22nd. Volunteers are needed from 9AM to 12N to assist with a variety of projects scheduled for that morning. The Senator will be present. The new headquarters is located at 2150 Country Club Road, Suite 150 (near Five Points) in Winston-Salem. There is lots of easy parking (behind the building) close to our entrance. We will serve lunch for volunteers working that day.

If you would like to help with this event, please call Mike Fenley or Brian Miller at the headquarters – 336-777-1170. There is also a need for volunteers to work on a regular basis as receptionists, mailing projects, etc. So, if you can’t make it on the 22nd, there are other opportunities to help.””

Candidates to Speak at Republican Women’s Club Meeting

The Republican Women’s Club will meet on Weds., 14 April, from 12:00p.m.–1:00p.m. at the Golden Corral in Boone. Those who want the buffet lunch should arrive at 11:30a.m. Wanda Howell and Lowell Younce, candidates for Clerk of Court, and Keith Gardner, candidate for Congress, will speak before early voting for the primaries begins 15 April. We have had increasingly large and enthusiastic turnout; about 60 attended a special meeting 7 April to hear Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, for example. If you have questions or suggestions, please call Linda Craig, our President, at 295-7412 or Jean Di Cola, Vice-President, at 264-1744.
